Hey, It’s Tay!
Taylor is an Arizona based photographer, filmmaker, designer, & outdoor professional.
I’m just a gal who fell in love with the canyons, mountains, and rivers of the Colorado Plateau & I can’t wait to share the adventure with you!
I am a digital media creative located in Flagstaff, Arizona. I started with photography and motion film as a medium in 2015 and I graduated from Northern Arizona University with a bachelors in Journalism and an Emphasis in Photojournalism and Documentary Filmmaking (I’ve got a minor in Political Science as well). My work has expanded to include graphic design, website design, illustration, video editing, audio collection, media management, and strategic full-stack marketing for scaling brands.
If you have a digital creative need, I’m your gal.
The Grand Canyon is my muse - April through October I worked and played as a river guide on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon National Park. My time in the canyon has been the gateway for my creativity and my most passionate work is made there.
I work with a variety of clients and my style is deeply rooted in photojournalism and documentary style storytelling. I’ve primarily been working with business owners throughout the Western United States and would like to continue broadening my professional reach abroad. Please don’t hesitate to reach out, to work together or to just geek out over art and storytelling.
Community and connection is the foundation of what I’ve come to love in this field of work.
Let’s tell your story and create something beautiful!
An Educator, Volunteer & Board Director
Community is the heartbeat of my life.
Before launching my studio full-time, I spent four years teaching photography, graphic design, and digital literacy at local Flagstaff K-12 School. That experience grounded me in something I still believe deeply: creativity and access go hand in hand.
I’m passionate about helping people understand the digital world they move through. From media and marketing to algorithms and online storytelling. Knowing how these systems work gives us the power to show up authentically and make informed choices, both online and in our communities.
That same energy shows up in my work as a board director for MOCAF (Museum of Contemporary Art Flagstaff) and the Flagstaff Mountain Film Festival, where I get to support artists, filmmakers, and community voices doing incredible work in Northern Arizona.
At the end of the day, my art, teaching, and community work all come from the same place: a belief that creativity isn’t just for a select few. It’s a force for connection, belonging, and shared growth.

Rivers - Mountains - Canyons
Taylor is an Arizona desert rat born and raised. As a child she grew up playing on the reservoirs of the Colorado River at Lake Mead and Lake Powell, little did she know she would end up dedicating her work and play to these places and what lie between them.
Taylor’s education at Northern Arizona University opened the door to all the adventure to be had on the Colorado Plateau. Rock climbing, high lining, whitewater river rafting, skiing, backpacking, mountain biking, and bike backing. She has made Flagstaff her home because of the amazing community and opportunities to be had deep within canyons, atop mountains, and floating down rivers. The Colorado Plateau offers a range in landscape seldom found in shut a small radius. It is a true blessing to call this place her home.
Taylor works as a river guide in the Grand Canyon and surrounding watersheds of the Southwest. You can find her on her days on and off frolicking with a camera, dusty as hell in the canyons of Arizona or up in the San Juan mountain range of Colorado visiting the high elevation snowpack that sustains our watershed.
The style of Taylor’s work is heavily influenced by canyon country, high alpine, and time spent outside.
