A Flagstaff Commercial Photoshoot with FunLuvin’ & Fretwater

There’s something special about watching a new product move in the wild.
Recently, I teamed up with FunLuvin’ Fleece Wear for a commercial shoot featuring their new fleece pearl snap shirts—playful, practical, and perfect for life on the water. To make it even better, we shot alongside the crew from Fretwater Boatworks, known for building some of the most beautiful handmade wooden boats in the Southwest.

We met at Lake Mary, just outside of Flagstaff, on a quiet day with big skies and calm water. The goal was simple: capture the spirit of the gear in use.

The combination of FunLuvin’s guide-inspired fleece with the craftsmanship of Fretwater’s boats created a unique visual blend of grit and beauty. It felt like a love letter to river life, desert style, and the kind of work that’s built with your hands.

From wide landscape shots to tighter product details, we captured both lifestyle and commercial angles—perfect for social, web, and retail use. These are the kinds of shoots I love: grounded in real community, built around collaboration, and full of personality.

If your brand is ready for commercial photography that feels real and rooted in place, I’d love to connect. I offer product, lookbook, and lifestyle shoots for outdoor companies, makers, and brands looking for natural light storytelling with a sense of place.

Let’s make your gear look as good as it works—now booking commercial shoots in Flagstaff and across the Southwest.
