River Rinse at Horn Creek
Artist Taylor Miller took this image after cleaning out her boat at camp after a nasty flip in Horn Creek rapid on the Colorado River in Grand Canyon. “The water was running low on a late fall trip and the right to left move was dire. We didn’t make it folks... When I got to camp I discovered a produce cooler full of muddy river water and with 8 more days of the trip left the head cook and I cleaned out the cooler and left the oranges for last.” Taylor is a commercial river guide in Grand Canyon on the Colorado River.
